i was found like this. striped like a tiger dug up from the bottom of the ocean in a suit of white letters on blue painted metal in an unknown language do your parts fit with mine what do we make when we combine do your parts fit with mine are you like me we use the falling water the wind and the sun the black blood of the earth silicon and copper wires to magnetize your body watch how my skin can change to yours i was thrown from the window of the spaceship moments before our impact with the water i can't believe that you could survive at the bottom of the ocean for 300 years
2.
for the rest of your life just try to be yourself and just keep hanging on because that's a strategy you like awake i am the night you lie awake in and the scars on my face are only there when you look i weave a tangled web where you don't get my jokes i'm not privy to your nature but i hit the ground running i'm not privy to your nature with all your useless information i'm not privy to your nature but i can hear your head ringing oh yeah it goes la la la la la la la la la la la was it the heat or the light what lit the dynamite that you hold in your hand for the rest of your life
3.
something on your mind something on your mind why does it always feel like you got left behind take whatever piece of mind you can find something on your mind something on your mind 'cause you don't know oh oh oh oh what you don't know and you've got no oh oh oh oh where else to go what'd you come here for what'd you come here for walk right in the door and lay down on the floor you don't even show your self anymore what'd you come here for what'd you come here for
4.
Just Colours 03:26
i'm so bloody stupid the way i treat myself sometimes you'd think that i wanted to die all of my bad habits they disappear when you're around you're the only cure i've found when i look at you all that i see no matter what you believe is just colours no lines no detail no shadow just colours when i look at you no matter what you believe my lover my lover you blinded me with colour it's like when i was young and i really had no clue at all all the steam none of the wherewithal ignorant and blissful naively safe and sound and calm the fuse is unaware of the bomb
5.
the last train left yesterday what does it matter to you anyway do you really wanna hurt me do you really wanna make me cry cuz everyone is innocent until their money’s spent uh huh and when you think you’re all alone there’s someone in your home uh huh and when you think it’s meaningless and fuckin’ too much stress uh huh my love is for real do you have enough to get you by you packed every shade between the truth and a lie and you pick it apart letter by letter tell me when does it start getting any better
6.
Cover Me 03:29
if you don’t know what to believe I can’t tell you what to believe when I started it was all the same and now it’s changed but nothing’s changed. on my signal cover me I’m goin’ in follow my shadow cast from the light within we grind it up into a powder we turn it up so it can’t get any louder and I will love you until the sun explodes no matter what the future holds we disappear into the background so we can dance through the company crackdown It’s not the end it’s the beginning what do we do now that we’re winning
7.
Wave Decay 03:37
if we should ever meet I’ll wear a jacket I will bring the heat so you can pack it turn around to see me standing not the most graceful of landings tell every place that you wanna erase every particle stays until the wave decays when I dance I tell a story it’s the story of me dancing hat head behind the bleachers fireworks without the teachers it was an accident of consequence I didn’t listen to my common sense
8.
the best people just keep getting better they fit you like your favourite old sweater and you just know you just know you just know they wake you from your deepest deep sleep where you had a dream and it was yours to keep yeah and you just know you just know you just know but I don’t I don’t wanna talk about love tonight ( don’t don’t don’t don’t don’t ) you can follow all the signs of the season come at me bro I just need a reason you can follow all the signs of the season I hope you know yeah, I’m only teasing. and I hope that you know yeah. I’ll be comin’ to find you. a mix tape and an unmade bed what you give you should be taking instead and you just know you just know you just know time and again in this circumstance uh you was just lookin’ for a place to dance yeah and you just know you just know you just know
9.
does time really heal all wounds or do things just look smaller when they’re farther away I still see your face I still hear your laughter let me go take me back somebody anyone ( let me go right now ) go somewhere with me somebody anyone ( let me go right now ) there’s nobody in this room so why does it feel like I’m never alone I still feel alive I never stopped believing never mind that’s okay yeah I get that you’re tired I’ll just go alone if you’re too old for that now

about

Beefdonut Winnipeg, Manitoba

Beefdonut was the other name of Joel Klaverkamp who is a very famous, award winning, world renowned, self taught multi- instrumentalist and music producer who's actually a pretty down to earth and friendly guy sometimes.

The format of the music was always changing. The last Beefdonut album was a collection of soundtrack work. Before that it was garage rock, indie pop, even lo-fi weirdo stuff.
